2. 1966/12/22 TLS to Merton I was most pleased to receive your note yesterday saying that you would write something on solitude. Disputed Questions - section on solitude / Christian perspective on solitude to accompany section on the problem of loneliness in modern life «detailed view»
3. 1967/06/18 (#01) TL[c] from Merton Thanks for your very interesting letter. 4. 1967/06/18 (#02) TL[x] from Merton Thanks for your very interesting letter. I'm replying while I can, because my ability to get [same as previous record but better xerox with Shannon's notes and full final sentence] «detailed view»
5. 1967/06/no? TALS to Merton Yesterday I read a piece in Commentary that was clearly written with a good deal of feeling and Coltman's reaction to an article from Commentary entitled, "On Cowardice" - confronting violence and anger / Coltman analyzing his own pacifism - is it cowardice? - starting to distrust non-violence / Coltman does not understand vow of celibacy - his thinking on a concept he calls "anti-entropy" «detailed view»
