This file does not contain correspondence. It houses Fr. Baldwin Skeehan's handwritten notes on Merton's lectures (taken from the recordings, time of notation unknown). They encompass lectures Merton gave to the monastic community from May 1, 1966 to February 4, 1968.

Biography

Fr. Baldwin Skeehan took over from Thomas Merton as novice master at Gethsemani Abbey after Merton retired to his hermitage in 1965. He served as novice master until 1968 and was later Prior of Gethsemani. He would later leave monastic life.
