QuotationIt is good to have accepted a man like Faulkner completely - then you can read and enjoy even an inferior book like Sartoris and watch him working and tolerate the trash that is there - not trash, but juvenile creation. Good really - though a little embarrassing (comic Negroes etc.). Now we are more "serious" than that but do we know anything?
