1. Manuscript Section of Book/Pamphlet C.2 Benoît, de Canfield, 1562-1610; Gullick, Etta unpublished "English translation made in 1639 from the original Latin." Etta Gullick asked Merton to write a preface for an edition of the Rule of Perfection by Benet Canfield (1562-1610) that she was editing. It was to be published by Claude Fredericks from Vermont.
