Quotation | Yesterday Lord Weary's Castle by Robert Lowell came and it is terrific. Harcourt Brace sent it after I had begged all around the town. But Lowell is a poet. I'd like to write an article about him. You could compare "The Quaker Graveyard" with Hopkins' "Wreck of the Deutschland," and Lowell is in some ways better than Hopkins. Though he is not as deep spiritually, he is sometimes more of a poet. |
