QuotationToday I have spent all this time on a discovery. "John the Solitary," a Syrian, whose Dialogue on the Soul and Passions was published by Hauscherr (in French) in 1939. It has remained practically unknown. Yet is extremely interesting. Can use a bit of it in the article I am writing now on Spiritual Direction in the Desert Fathers (for Hermits).
