Mark Stone asks Merton is he can mimeograph his article, "Red or Dead: The Anatomy of a Cliché" for his high school class. Merton gives permission and answers some of Stone's questions about the meaning of the article, which concerns the Cold War, communism and the nuclear arms race.

Biography

Mark Stone was a teacher from Olney High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvanian.
